It all began in the winter of 2022, just a few weeks before Christmas, when Anthony stumbled upon a girl named Marissa on Bumble. Her profile showed she was 13 miles away in the South Bronx, but little did he know, that was just where she worked as a teacher. As fate would have it, Marissa didn't actually live there.

With Marissa being an early-riser and Anthony a night-owl, their schedules didn't allow for a long first date. So, they decided on a quick meet-up for drinks at The Cornerstone in Hillsdale. Anthony immediately wanted to see Marissa again and asked where he could pick her up for a dinner date the following week. To his surprise, her address wasn’t a 40-minute drive away as he expected, but just a 40-second walk across the street from where he lived in Westwood! Talk about a small world!

From there, their love story grew with exciting dates across New Jersey and New York. Within two months of dating, they even took a magical trip to Disney and Harry Potter World! Both 100% Italian, with successful careers and entrepreneurial spirits, Anthony and Marissa quickly realized they had found something special. They both knew early on that they had found the person they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with.

After a year and a half of dating, Anthony secretly planned the perfect proposal with both of their immediate families. One beautiful day in May, overlooking the Hudson River, he asked Marissa to marry him. To top it off, he surprised her with a celebration at The Park Steakhouse, surrounded by their loved ones.
